Enrolling at Albion Academy

Choosing the right school, whether as a place to learn or as a place of work, is an important decision, which requires good information and careful thought. In particular, the experience of changing schools is an exciting and significant one for children and for their parents, and we know that you will have lots of questions.

At the Albion Academy, we aim for excellence in every aspect of our work, and our greatest asset is our team of staff. Teachers, educational support staff, pastoral and service staff all work together to ensure the very best support for our young people.

We make special provision for our gifted and talented pupils, as well as for those who have Special Educational needs and for pupils for whom English is an additional language.

As a Full Service Extended Academy, we also offer a good range of activities for young people and the wider community in the evenings and during holidays. We have a strong relationship with local primary schools, which ensures a good transition into secondary education, and our pastoral team works closely with parents to support the development of our young people.

All applications should be made as per Salford City Council's admissions process via their website. Here you will also find details of arrangements for students with medical needs.
