Curriculum

At the Albion Academy, we strive to create a modern, vibrant and exciting curriculum that responds to the needs of our young people. We constantly seek to develop a love of learning and use interests to motivate and stimulate enquiry. We pride ourselves on offering a curriculum that equips students with the skills and qualifications they need to be successful in work; and as lifelong learners.

Curriculum provision for international new arrivals

Students who are new to the country will initially spend their time learning English with our specially trained EAL team. Once they are sufficiently proficient and have acquired enough English, they will slowly be placed into specific lessons designed to develop their communication skills. The aim is to have all students within some lessons within 6 weeks.
