“These are an impressive set of results that continue our clear trajectory of improvement as a school and are the highest we have received. I would like to congratulate all of our students who are celebrating today on their hard work and dedication to their learning.
“We are so pleased that 72% of pupils gained a Grade 4 or hight in both English and Maths and 60% of pupils gained both with a Grade 5 or above. These results represent a continuation of the progress we have made as a school in recent years and demonstrate our ambitions for every student who joins us. But, most importantly, these results will ensure that our students will be able to move on to the next stage of their education or begin their working lives with the confidence, skills and qualifications they need.
“There is a great deal of positivity around The Albion as we begin the new academic year and we look forward to showcasing today’s success as an inspiration for our younger students.”
