Religious Education

The Religious Education curriculum at The Albion Academy aims to educate our community about the world’s major religions, their teachings, and beliefs, as well as atheist views.

The curriculum tackles moral issues within society and teaches the different theist and atheist perspectives on them. The RE curriculum intends to nurture students to become understanding, tolerant and respectful citizens of a range of beliefs, communities, and cultures in modern Britain.

Right to Withdraw

  • Parents have the right to withdraw their children from all or part of religious education. 
  • For any requests to withdraw your child from religious education, please contact the school to arrange a meeting with the Principal in the first instance.
